It is a good-sized monitor, with a 5-inch display screen. You can look at your child, talk to them, rotate the camera to see them better, and even keep an eye on them at night.

The battery

I loved the battery life on this monitor, I plugged it in to play with it for a while,     then used it for 2 consecutive nights before charging it. Granted, it was in standby mode all night, but still, VAVA states that in standby mode, which is sound only, it will last for 15 to 18 hours. I can completely look into that. When it is a passive mode, both picture and sound are running, you can still get all-night battery power with 8 hours of life.

The charging time is assumed to be 8 hours to be fully full, which is a long time to charge it. But, thankfully you can use it while charging. So say you need to use it for a daytime nap, but it needs to be charged from the night before, you can still charge it. This will make the total charge time somewhat longer, so be aware of this and add an extra hour or two before unloading the charger.
